What books or series intimidates you (because of length, density, subject) would feel like an accomplishment to finish?
Definitely Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon.
I didn’t realize how HUGE this book was until I came across it at Barnes & Noble. I’ve seen pics of it on Instagram but it didn’t really hit me how big it was until I saw it in person. I want to read it because a lot of people have loved it, but goodness it’s huge.
What author would you like to Co-Author a book with?
I would love to Co-Author a book with Cambria Hebert. She became one of my top favorite authors after I read her #Hashtag series and then later read her GearShark series & BearPaw Resort series! I just love her. Her writing is just so down to earth and totally realistic that you feel like you are living the story along with the characters.
If you could interview any author for your blog, who would it be and what’s one question you would ask?
I have fallen in love with Meghan Quinn’s novels and so I would definitely interview her. One question I would ask would be: ” How do you write such great novels and be a devoted mom and wife at the same time? How do you balance it all?”
As a writer, what genre is out of your comfort zone, that you’d like to conquer one day?
It’s crazy to think, but even though I’ve read some M/M books before by my favorite authors, I just don’t know how I would write a story where the main characters are M/M. I mean I’m not a guy or gay so I’m not sure how I could know what they go through when finding love.
What specific edition of a book would you like to own someday? It could be rare, first edition, an anniversary edition, signed, or one with a cover special to you, etc?
Once again expressing my love for this series. Cambria Hebert is working on bringing back the anniversary edition to #NERD and OMG I need one in my life!
If i could get one of these editions and it be signed!?! I just might die of happiness.
Are there any books or bookish items you would like to collect?
I actually collect book marks from all the places I visit! I have one from Mexico, Oklahoma ( I live there lol). I have several that I have received with books and I love that. I also have a book mark from Jerusalem!
Name one bookish place you would like to visit. (Not somewhere you would like to visit because of a book, or a fictional book place. A library, bookstore, etc).
I would love to visit bookstores all over the US and eventually go to ones overseas. Not just the major book stores, but those bookstores that are like hidden gems because they are the ones you stumble upon.
Name one bookish event you would like to attend.
Your WIP is getting published and designing the cover is solely up to you. What does it look like?
What is one thing you would like to accomplish within the bookish world? As a reader, writer, blogger, whatever you want?
I can not just chose one.
Of course I wish to accomplish to read ALL the books on my TBR list, but since it’s forever growing we will see if I make it lol.
I hope to finish my WIP and write more, and maybe even get published one day.
